My voice only comes out the left speaker when I play stuff I recorded but for some reason the beat plays out both speakers. Run the troubleshooting in Windows 7: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Troubleshooting\Hardware and Sound and tell us the report. Click on the Audio tab, then in the Sound Recording default device and make sure the mic is selected. Do you mean when you record or playing the recorded data? Is it displaying two channels on the panel of Cool edit? Go to the control panel, click on the Sounds and Audio Devices icon.
